Which is worse, a rout or a close one?

Upset:

Remember how Oklahoma was haunted by their butt-kicking last month at the hands of Oklahoma State? Well now they'll be haunted by their achingly close loss, 71-69. That's an upset for #25 OSU over #20 OU, and a regular-season sweep for the Cowgirls.

I've always said I'd rather get routed than nipped by 2 points or less.
